My son Luke and I visited the Frederick Meijer Gardens one day during his Spring Break.  The butterflies were there and that was a really cool experience!  I loved it!  He got a little hot in there, though, and didn't last as long as I would have liked.   Still got some fun shots of a couple of the butterflies and some of the other sites there.  Also got some nice shots of some tulips.  So pretty.
This year at Frederick Meijer Gardens, I will be photographing the wedding of Jeremy & Sarah.  A small, simple ceremony is their choice.  I think this will be a fun, relaxing wedding to do.  Their wedding is one of my June events.   I'm really looking forward to it.

Kristy & Duston

I met Kristy & Duston at Duston's sister's wedding a few years ago.  They were dating and were SO cute together, so I snapped a few candids of them.  This year, I get the honor of being their wedding photographer!  They are so excited to get married!  I can't wait for their wedding in October!

Trying to keep up on blogging!

Wedding season is approaching!  I am excited for this year.  New venues and new people to meet and get to know.  This year I have two receptions at the Trestle Stop in Hamilton, Michigan.  I haven't been there, but it sounds like there's a pretty garden area to photograph my brides and grooms.  That should be fun.  I have two receptions in barns this year!  One is a more modern looking one, at least on the outside and one is a family barn that they are going to clean out and decorate.   The ideas Megan has for decor sound really cool!  I can't wait.

My first blog!

I'm not sure if I will do very well at keeping up with this! Just wanted a different spot to say what I feel about my pictures and my clients, and just life in general!
